Welcome to LaSalle Community Action Head Start! I am honored to be serving as your Head Start Director. We at LCAA Head Start are eager and ready to begin a new school year and looking forward to providing our families with a high quality early childhood learning experience.

LaSalle CAA Head Start is committed in providing your child with a safe and nurturing environment that support children’s overall needs in areas such as language, literacy, and social, and emotional development. For many children, Head Start will be their first experience in a school setting and our goal is to provide an environment that will ensure school is an enjoyable experience.

One element I truly believe in is the support of parents in our program. Head Start recognizes that parents are their child’s first teacher and I want to take the time to encourage you to be diligent in their educational journey. Positive staff and parent partnerships is highly important in the success of a child’s learning. I also want to encourage our parents to take time and talk with, play with, and most of all, pray with your children. Hug and love on them. They will know that if no one else is in their corner, you are.
